In the main, the website examines the economics of sports. More accurately, it is an analysis of issues in sport from those with an economic perspective.
Given the background of the contributors there will be an Irish flavour to many of the postings on the websites blog. There will also be the occasional posting where there is more opinion than analysis.
Sporteconomics.org was jointly founded in July 2013 by a group of lecturers in Economics at University College Cork, Ireland.
