Today's Irish Independent carries an estimate of the value of the 2013 All-Ireland hurling final replay (here). Even with reduced ticket prices the estimate is €2m. In March the same newspaper carried a figure of €1.2m for the 2012 replay between Kilkenny and Galway (here). Most supporters will be delighted with the chance for a repeat of yesterday. The GAA will welcome the money and a chance to keep hurling in the "shop window" for another 3 weeks.
